Origin Story
An experiment in off-center turning, likely inspired by Derek Weidman. The blank was mounted off-center on the lathe to create the basic shape, then rasps and files refined it into the proud bird’s breast form.
Material Source
Salvaged from a signmaker’s shop basement cleanout. Artist helped clean out the space and kept scrap wood of various kinds.
